Important Notice: The POIZON platform is jointly operated by POIZON HOLDING PTE. LTD. and POIZON GLOBAL Limited (hereinafter referred to as "POIZON" or "we"). When you use POIZON services and/or sell/purchase products on POIZON, we may collect and access your personal information and privacy. For consumers on the platform, POIZON HOLDING PTE. LTD. will process your information;for sellers, POIZON HOLDING PTE. LTD. and POIZON GLOBAL Limited will jointly process your information. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you of how we collect, store, use and share such information, as well as the ways we provide to you to access, update, control and protect such information.


POIZON services are currently mainly made available to Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan. Subject to the limitation of our existing service and operating capabilities, POIZON services are currently not made available to residents of the European Union (including the EU Economic Area and the UK). If you are identified by our system as an EU resident, we are very sorry that you may be prevented from accessing our services. Please exit this application.


This Privacy Policy is closely related to your use of the services rendered by POIZON. Please read carefully and fully understand this Privacy Policy before using POIZON platforms or our services. If you do not agree to part or all of the content, or have any questions about the content of this Privacy Policy, we recommend that you suspend further operations and contact us through various contact methods provided on POIZON. If you check and click “Have read and agreed”, it will be deemed that you have read and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy.


We will try to use simple and concise statements for your easy understanding. The terms that have or may have a significant relationship with your rights, the personal sensitive information we may collect, and the terms that do or may exempt or limit us from liability in this Privacy Policy have been marked in bold/underlined for you to read more carefully and to remind you of your attention.


Although “minor” is defined differently under local laws and customs, we consider anyone under the age of 18 as a minor. If you are under the legal age of majority in your area, you should register, use this software and read this Agreement in the company of your legal guardian.

I. Definition of “personally identifiable information” and your representations

1. Personal identifiable information: refers to all kinds of information, presented electronically or otherwise, that can be used alone or with other information to identify a particular natural person or reflect the activities of a particular natural person. Including but not limited to the information that you fill in or generate when you register with or use POIZON, such as name, phone number, address, email, contact details, payment details, transaction information, which can be used alone or with other information to identify a particular person.

2. System permissions: refers to the system access or permissions you grant to us when using certain features of POIZON, including but not limited to: album (if photos are stored in an external storage device, we’ll access photos in the external storage device), camera, geo-location, microphone, and notification. We will request the said system access or permissions in advance. And you have the option to deny our access by doing so in the System Permission setting.

You undertake and warrant that: The personal information you fill in or offer to POIZON is true, accurate and complete. We provide ways and means convenient for you to update your information. In case of any change to your information after you fill in or provide it to POIZON, you can update your information at [Account] - [Settings], especially your personal information, PayPal account, receiving address and other key information to ensure that your personal information obtained by POIZON is up to date, true, accurate and complete; otherwise, if some functions or services cannot be used or realized for your information is not updated in time, the resulting losses and liabilities shall be borne by yourself.

II. How we collect and use your personal information

(I) Registration and access

When you register an account with POIZON, we need to collect your mobile phone number or email address, device information (including IMEI, IMSI) and account password to complete the account registration.

When you access POIZON, we need to collect the information about your device language, time zone and country code to provide you with the services that adapt to your device. When you use our business support service, we may also ask you to provide personal information such as social media account number, category preference, name of business principal, etc.

During your use of POIZON services, POIZON needs to obtain your network status so that we can provide you with complete services.

Any user who offers a price on POIZON must offer their email address when registering, and reach the legal age of majority in their area. On the premise of meeting the above age limitation, in addition to the information collected above, we will also collect your third-party payment information for verifying your identity and payment settlement.

Third party account login: we will collect your third party account information from third parties such as Apple, Google, Facebook, etc. based on your authorization and bind it to your POIZON account so that you can login and access our products and/or services directly through your third party account. We will use your information to the extent that you have given your consent.


(II) Transactions

We are PCI-DSS certified, and we comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard when processing your payment card information.

1. When you purchase goods on POIZON:

(1) We need to collect your consignee name, contact information and receiving address for delivery by express services and contacting you to receive the goods;

(2) We need to collect your bank card information and third-party payment information for you to make payment and complete risk control verification when you purchase goods;

(3) When you get a refund or compensation, we need to use platform system to record your POIZON bank card information, third-party payment information, real name and transaction amount for the transfer of refund or compensation amount;

(4) When you scan the identification results, we will call your camera permission for you to scan the QR code to get the results.

2. When you sell goods on POIZON:

(1) We need to collect your name, address, postal code (if any), birthday, and third-party payment information to pay you.

(2). We will make payment to you through Hyperwallet. Your use of Hyperwallet for payment service shall comply with relevant service regulations of Hyperwallet. Hyperwallet will collect your personal data when providing payment service for you, please refer to Hyperwallet Privacy policy for details.

(3) We need to collect your consignee name, contact information and delivery address before shipping to you the items returned. If you allow the system to quickly identify your geo-location, we need to request your GPS permission.

(4) After sending a commodity, you need to furnish us the commodity’s shipping information for POIZON to check.

(5) To ensure the security of transaction information, we will send you the transaction information (including order information, transaction progress, etc.) on the commodities you sell by email, so we need to collect your email address to send you the said information.

(6) If you opt to fill in your waybill number by scanning code, we need to request your album and camera permissions.

(7) In the case of deduction of default fine due to your violation of relevant rules of the POIZON platform when selling commodities on the POIZON platform as a seller, we will deduct the agreed amount of default fine from your bound credit card through Stripe. Your use of the payment service of Stripe shall comply with relevant service regulations of Stripe. Stripe will collect your personal data when providing payment service for you, please refer to Stripe Privacy Policy for details.

(III) Identification feature

1. When you use the authentication feature, we will access your uploaded pictures, and you have the option to delete the contents you post publicly at any time.

(1) When you use the identification feature to upload pictures, we will request your mobile phone album (if the photos are stored in the external SD card, we need to access the photos stored in the SD card) and camera permissions for the purpose of taking and uploading the pictures of the commodities to be identified, so that we can identify the commodities you’ve uploaded;

2. Your refusal to grant the aforementioned mobile permissions may prevent you from using all or part of the identification feature, but it will not affect your use of other services provided by us.

3. The information you post publicly or disclose when using the identification feature may involve your or others’ personal data or personally identifiable information, such as the pictures you choose to upload that contain personal information. You should be prudent in deciding whether to make public such information. And if the said information contains children’s personal data, you are expected to obtain the consent of their guardians before posting them.


(IV) Risk and security control

In the process of using our service, in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, identify abnormal accounts and optimize relevant services, prevent users from using computer swiping, computer modification, illegal use of third-party platforms or software (such as code receiving platform, computer modification software, and human-based crowdsourcing) to conduct malicious operations, improve the security of the services provided for you by us and our affiliates and partners, and to protect the personal and property safety of you or other users or the public from encroachment, the application security SDK we embed and develop in the application program will collect your device information and service log information, and may use or integrate your POIZON account information, transaction information and the information obtained by our affiliates and partners as authorized by you or shared by you under the law, so as to comprehensively identify your account and transaction risks, conduct identity verification, detection and prevention of security incidents, and take necessary record, audit, analysis and disposal measures according to law.

Device information: We will, based on your specific operation during your visit and / or use, receive and record the relevant information of the device you use (including device id, operating system version, IP address, device brand, model, settings, environment, system parameters, device status, and other software and hardware feature information), device identification code (MAC/AndroidID/IDFA/IDFV/OPENUDID/GUID/IMSI/Google ad id and Google service framework id), network status information, WIFI information, device location information, and application process list.

Service log data: when you use POIZON products or services, we will automatically collect the particulars about your use of our services and save them as service log data, including data about uses ID, phone number, email address, browsing history, clicks / views, searches / queries, likes, transactions, after-sales, follows and posts, as well as behavior information such as IP address, access dates and times.

You should be aware that device and service log data alone cannot be used to identify a particular natural person. If we combine such non-personal information with other information to identify a specific natural person or use it in conjunction with personal information, such non-personal information will be considered as personal information for the duration of the combined use. If we do so, we will anonymise and de-identify such personal information, except where we have your authorization or where otherwise required by law or regulation. The above information is the basic level of information that must be collected in order to provide the services and if you refuse to provide it, we may not be able to provide you with services.


(V) Provide direct marketing, promotion updates and other services

1. Regulations on opting in to and out of direct marketing.

(1) If you agree to participate in our marketing and promotion activities, we or our third-party business partners will ask you whether to accept marketing message; upon your explicit and prior consent, and to the extent permitted by law, we will provide you with updated information about our products through email, SMS and/or other direct communication methods according to your preferences, including information about new products, new features, special offers, upgrade opportunities, activities, and other promotional information. We may also conduct market analysis by using your personal information.

(2) If you do not agree to opt in to marketing activities, or you change your mind after you agree, we will always provide you with the opportunity to unsubscribe from or update any service. You can unsubscribe from future marketing mailings by checking and updating the contact information at your account at any time, or select the “Unsubscribe” link at the end of the message on all marketing and promotional updates we send you, or contacting our customer service team (email: customer@poizon.com).

2. Provide us with feedback and comments, customer surveys.

If you want to post comments or feedback on our services through blogs or articles, we may collect your name, user name, and email address, and such name or user name will be displayed next to your comments.

You can also directly contact us and give feedback by email and other means. We may improve our services based on your feedback, and publish it online or offline to facilitate our business and services. We will obtain your consent before publishing.

Meanwhile, we will conduct customer surveys from time to time. We hope that you will offer suggestions for our products and services. We may collect such information as your name, user name, email, and answers to questions.

3. Social media services.

If you follow us or interact with us on any page on a third-party social media platform (such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), the information you provide will be governed by the third-party’s privacy policy.

4. Other services.

You can contact us by sending an email if you have any questions. And when you are sending such an email, you must provide your email address so that we can give you a replay.


(Ⅵ) Other situations where your information may be collected

Where permitted by law, we may obtain your personal information from other individuals, business entities, public channels or other third parties acting at your direction, our partners who work with us to provide our products and services and assist us in information security and fraud prevention, and from other lawful sources. We will explain it to you at the time of such collection and obtain your consent.

We may also use other methods to collect other information about you, your device or your use of services, which will be explained to you at the time of collection and we will obtain your consent.

In order to better improve our product layout and provide you with great services, we may conduct research, statistical analysis and prediction on the collected information in an anonymized manner (including machine learning or model algorithm training by using anonymous data). We will take technical measures and other necessary measures to process such data, so that the data cannot be re-identified to specific individuals, nor can it be recovered. In accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, such processed data can be used without separately notifying you or obtaining your consent.

If you choose to use other services not covered by the foregoing terms, for which we need to collect your information, we will seek your prior consent. We will use, store, disclose and protect your information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy and the corresponding User Agreement. Your refusal to provide the aforesaid information may prevent you from using a particular or part of our services, but it will not affect your use of other services provided by us.

III. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

1. What are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your mobile device by us to ensure that this Application’s normal operation and your convenient access to it. Cookies usually contain identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters. Our websites, online services, interactive applications, email and other information services may use Cookies and other similar technologies such as Pixel Tags and Web Beacons. We generally treat information collected by Cookies and similar technologies as non-personal information as they do not contain any of your personally identifiable information. However, to the extent that Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by the laws of the countries concerned, we will also follow the laws of the countries concerned.

2. Why we use Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use Cookies or similar tracking technologies to better understand the use of mobile application on your device, to understand how often you use the app, events that occur within the app, cumulative usage, performance data, and where the app is downloaded from; we and our partners use Cookies or similar tracking technologies to analyze trends, administer the site, track user behavior on the site, and collect demographic information about our user base as a whole. For example: we may cooperate with third parties to display ads on our websites or to manage our ads on other websites. Our third-party partners may use Cookies or similar tracking technologies to show you ads based on your browsing history and interests.

We also collect certain information about the device you use to access the app, such as your IP address, mobile carrier, time zone settings, identifiers for advertising purposes, model of your device, the device system, network type, device IDs, your screen resolution and operating system, app and file names and types.

We will not use cookies for any purpose other than those stated in This Privacy Policy. You can manage or delete Cookies according to your preferences. You can choose not to be tracked and opt out ads based on interests (if any) by resetting the mobile end device (clearing the content and data).

Ⅳ. How we manage, store and protect your personal information

(I) How we protect your personal information

We undertake to use all reasonable endeavors to protect your personal information we collect using reasonably feasible security protection measures in line with industry standards, in an effort to prevent leakage, loss, improper use, unauthorized access, modification and disclosure of your information. We will take multi-faceted security protection measures to ensure that your personal information is protected under a reasonable level of security, including management system control, security system guarantee and many other aspects. We will have an access control mechanism in place to ensure that only authorized personnel can access your personal information; and we will organize security and privacy protection training to enhance our employees’ awareness of the importance of protecting personal information. Those who violate their obligations will be punished according to relevant provisions.

We suggest that you pay adequate attention to the protection of your personal information when using our products or services. We will provide a variety of security functionalities to help you safeguard your personal information. You should pay attention to the protection of your personal information. If you are aware that your personal information has been disclosed or is likely to be disclosed, thereby threatening the security of your account you register with POIZON, or causing other losses, you must forthwith notify us so that we can take corresponding measures to protect the security of your POIZON account and prevent loss or further loss.

In case of stoppage of our service, we will promptly stop the collection of your personal information, notify you of the stoppage of our service in the form of one-by-one delivery or announcement, and delete or anonymize the personal information we’ve collected.

(Ⅱ) How we store your personal information

We store personal information collected or generated during our operations in Hong Kong, and will not transfer personal information outside Hong Kong. We guarantee that the information we collect is necessary for business functions. We will try our best to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information. We will only retain your personal information for the period required to achieve the purpose stated in the policy, unless there is a mandatory retention requirement by law. After your personal information exceeds the retention period, or after you cancel your account, we will delete your personal information or make it anonymized in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws.

(Ⅲ) How we manage your personal information

We provide you the following functionalities to facilitate your access and control of your personal information:

1. Query, revise and supplement your personal information

(1) Order information: you can click “Me” → “Order” to view / manage the orders of the items you sell.

(2) Address management: you can click “Me” → “Address List” to manage your address for receiving returned commodities.

(3) Beneficiary account: you can click “Me” → “Account Info” to manage your beneficiary account.

You can manage, enable or disable system permissions by changing the system settings on your mobile device, including but not limited to album, camera, microphone, geo-location and other system permissions.

2. Close your account

You can close your account by the following ways:

(1) Log in to POIZON and submit an account cancellation application by contacting customer service (email: customer@poizon.com).

(2) After you actively close your account, we will stop providing you with products or services, and delete your personal information or anonymize it according to your request, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that we have the right to reject your request for closing your account insofar as you are currently subject to outstanding obligations, such as outstanding orders and payments.

Ⅴ. How we share, transfer and disclose your personal information

(I) Sharing

We will not share your information with any third party other than our service providers, provided however that you should be aware of the following exceptions:

1. We may make public your personal information for compliance with laws and regulations or for settlement of litigations or disputes or in response to mandatory requirements of competent administrative and judiciary authorities.

2. We may share your information with a third party with your explicit consent.

3. When you purchase or/and sell commodities on POIZON or use POIZON other services, we may cooperate with third-party partners to provide you with certain services. We will only share your information for the legal, legitimate, necessary, specific, and clear purposes stated in This Privacy Policy, and authorize partners access to perform their duties and we will require them by agreement not to use this information for any other purpose.

Currently, our third party partners include the following types:

(1) Express and logistics service providers , providing delivery services to you, to whom we will provide with your order information, consignee name, contact details and address information which are necessary for delivery service.

(2) Customs clearance service providers, providing commodity outbound and inbound customs clearance services to you, to whom we will provide with your order information, consignee name, contact details and address information which are necessary for customs clearance services.

(3) Commodity identification service providers, providing commodity identification service to you, to whom we will provide with your order information, and commodity which are necessary for customs identification service.

(4) Third-party payment agencies, to whom we will provide with your third-party payment account information, transaction information, order information, name, address, postal code (if any), date of birth.

(5) SMS service providers, providing SMS sending services to you, to whom we will provide with your name and mobile number.

(6) Mail push service providers, providing mail sending services to you, to whom we will provide with your name and email address.

(7) Customer service platform provider: provide online customer service platform services, we will provide your name and the order information you consulted.

When we embed the third party SDK or other similar applications of authorized partners in this Application, we will notify you promptly and request the SDK service provider that obtains the information to protect your data security.

In order to provide evaluation, analysis or other business services, we may also share your non-personal information with third parties. For example, we may use aggregated data to help partners (e.g., advertising service providers) understand the effectiveness, feedback and usage trends of their services.

In the event of a merger, acquisition or bankruptcy liquidation, asset transfer and other related transaction, if a personal information transfer is involved, we will require the new entity or organization holding your personal information to continue to be bound by This Privacy Policy through an agreement or other appropriate measures, and we will require such subject to take confidentiality and security measures of a degree no less than the requirements of This Privacy Policy to process personal information.

(II) Transfer

POIZON will not transfer your information to any other parties, except in the following circumstances:

(1) Obtain your explicit consent.

(2) If POIZON is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of its assets, which may affect your personal information, we will issue a prominent notice via email and/or on our website or other appropriate methods to inform you of any changes in the ownership and your rights of your personal information, and any choices you may have about your personal information. If this results in a transfer of your personal information, we will also strictly require the transferee to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Otherwise, we will require the transferee to seek your authorized consent again.

(3) In the case that has been explained in this privacy policy or notified you by other means.

(III) Disclosure

1. We will not disclose your information to any third party, provided however that we can disclose your personal information without first obtaining your authorization and consent in the following cases:

(1) Those directly related to national security and national defense security;

(2) Those directly related to public safety, public health and other major public interests;

(3) Those directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and execution of judgment;

(4) For purpose of protecting your or others’ life, property and other significant legal rights and interests, but it is difficult to get the consent from the subject;

(5) The personal information collected is made public by yourself;

(6) The personal information is collected from legally public channels, such as legal news reports, government information publicity and other channels;

2. Pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, in case of any complaint raised against you, we may disclose your relevant information to the competent administrative and regulatory authorities as required by them, so as to facilitate the effective resolution of the complaints and disputes.

Ⅵ. How your personal information is transferred across borders

For the purposes described in This Privacy Policy, and to the extent permitted by applicable local laws and regulations and with your authorized consent, we may transfer your personal information to the resources or servers stipulated in section III of This Privacy Policy for storage or processing, we may also transfer your personal information to third-party service providers and business partners and your data may therefore also be transmitted to other countries or regions. The privacy protection laws of these countries or regions may be different, and the jurisdiction in which these global resources or servers are located may or may not protect personal information to the same standards as in your jurisdiction. However, we will still strive to comply with our Privacy Policy to protect your personal information, and we will follow the legal requirements of the country or region where the personal information is located to carry out the corresponding cross-border transfer and other processing of personal information.

In the circumstance that we transfer personal information outside of your jurisdiction, whether it transferred to our affiliates or third-party service providers, we will comply with relevant applicable laws. We will take appropriate security measures and safeguards to make sure that all such transfers meet the requirements of applicable local data protection laws.

Ⅶ. How we manage and protect personal information of minors (especially children)

1. We attach great importance to the protection of personal information of minors (especially children), therefore, children under the age of 13 or the equivalent age as specified by law in your jurisdiction are not allowed to use our products or services without the consent and guidance of their legal guardians and such practice shall be permitted by relevant laws and regulations. In principle, we do not provide services directly to children, do not actively collect children’s personal data or do not use children’s personal information for the purposes of marketing. We will only collect, use and disclose a child's personal information with the explicit permission and consent of the child's guardian, to the extent permitted by law, and when it is indeed necessary to collect such information. If at any time the guardian needs to access, modify or delete the personal information related to the child under guardianship, please contact us by methods as described herein, and we will respond in a timely manner. If you find that a child’s information has been collected to us without the awareness of the legal guardian, please send an email to privacy@poizon.com to contact us. We will remove the relevant information as soon as possible. If we find that we have collected the personal information of a child without the prior consent of a verifiable guardian, we will also remove the relevant content as soon as possible.

2. We will require minors under the age of 18 (or the appropriate age for minors as defined by applicable laws in other jurisdictions) to obtain prior consent from their guardians before using POIZON app as required by relevant laws and regulations.

3. If we intentionally collect, use or disclose the personal information of minors, we will give notice in accordance with the governing law and obtain the consent from their guardians.

4. The guardian of the minor can view the personal information of the minor we have collected, withdraw their consent to allow us to collect the personal information of the minor, and request us to delete the information of the minor we have collected. If you need to view, update, or delete the above information, please contact us via privacy@poizon.com.

Please note that we may not delete certain information due to legal liability.

5. If you are a guardian, please check out whether the minor under your guardianship uses POIZON services without your consent.

Ⅷ. Your rights to your personal information

We respect your rights to your personal information. In some cases, you have the right to:

1. Right to confirm and access: We inform you how we collect and process personal information through This Privacy Policy or in the form of a privacy policy or notice of the specific product or service. You have the right to confirm or reject such collection and processing via a check box or other methods. However, after you reject, some features that require your explicit authorization and consent to use may no longer be available. You can directly access the personal information you have provided to us in the interface of our products or services. For those that you are unable to access, you can send an email to privacy@poizon.com. We will handle it promptly after receiving your email.

2. Right to correct and delete: When your personal information is changed, or when you find that your personal information collected and processed by us is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to make corrections or additions. You can directly correct or modify some of your personal information on the relevant product/service function pages. When your personal information collected by us has fulfilled the purpose of collection or is no longer required, or when you find that our collection and processing of your personal information violates the provisions of laws and regulations or this Privacy Policy, you have the right to ask us to delete the relevant personal information. For personal information that we have not provided you with a channel for correction or deletion, you can request that it be corrected or deleted by contacting privacy@poizon.com.

However, we may not grant your deleting request in some situations, for example, if you ask us to delete your transaction data when we are legally obligated to keep a record of that transaction to comply with the applicable local law. Please also kindly note that if you request to delete your information from our products and services, we may not remove the corresponding information from the backup system immediately due to some applicable local laws and technological limitations, however, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until the backup is updating or can be deleted or be made anonymous.

3. Right to withdraw consent: If we process your personal information based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us by privacy@poizon.com.

You may also change your marketing preferences at any time by following the instructions in the section "Providing direct marketing, promotional updates". In this case, you have the right to object to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes by automated and non-automated means. At the same time, you have the right to object to the processing of data for marketing purposes, as well as to the processing of data for personal analysis purposes, insofar as such information is relevant for such marketing purposes. You may also object to the processing of data for analytical purposes only. We will process your request within a reasonable time after you send the request, and thereafter will not collect, use and/or disclose your personal information in accordance with your request.

If you withdraw your consent, you may not be able to continue receiving the part and/or full benefit of POIZON and its Service. The withdrawal of your consent or authorization will not affect the validity of our previous processing activities based on your consent.

4. Right to complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint by sending us an email at privacy@poizon.com. We will respond promptly after receiving your complaint. If you are unsatisfied with our response, especially if our processing of personal information violates your legitimate rights and interests, you may refer your complaint or report to your local statutory personal data protection department, or file a lawsuit with a competent court.

5. Right to restriction processing: You have the right to request our restriction on the processing of your personal information. We shall consider the grounds regarding your restriction request. If the grounds are in the compliance with applicable data protection laws, we will process your personal information under applicable circumstances in such laws and notify you before the restriction of processing is lifted.
